Sandra Lim is a professor and poet in the United States. She won the 2013 Barnard Women Poets Prize. Lim’s first book was Loveliest Grotesque won the 2006 Kore Press First Book Award for Poetry.

She has also been published in the Boston Review, Court Green, Guernica, Colorado Review, and American Letters & Commentary. She received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony and Vermont Studio Center.
In 2017, Lim was announced as a faculty member at the 2017 Poetry Seminar at The Frost Place.

Life
Lim was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in the area around San Francisco. She graduated from Stanford University, Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and University of California, Berkeley.
She is an assistant professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts.
