Seydouba Guinéenne Soumah (born 11 June 1991) is a Guinean international footballer who plays as a midfielder for SuperLiga club Partizan and the Guinea national football team.

Ajax Cape Town

Seydouba Soumah made his professional debut for Ajax Cape Town on 22 January 2011 in a 3–0 win against Platinum Stars at Moruleng Stadium in Moruleng, North West Province. Seydouba, now into his fourth year at Ajax, was acquired by Ajax Cape Town after being spotted and recruited to the mother city club as a 15-year-old kid from the streets of the West African country. The Guinean teenager was promoted from the youth ranks to perform with the club's first team at the start of the 2010–11 season, making his PSL debut after two loan spells in the National First Division at iKapa Sporting and F.C. Cape Town. Following his loan spells, Seydouba Soumah made his debut for Ajax Cape Town during the 2010–11 season, appearing in ten matches and scoring once to help the Urban Warriors secure a second-place finish in the league table that season. Following his debut with Ajax, Seydouba Soumah was transferred to the University of Pretoria, playing in the National First Division once more.

FC Nitra

In February 2012, he joined Slovak club FC Nitra and signed contract for 3 years. On 9 March 2012, he made his debut for FC Nitra against MŠK Žilina. He scored his first goal on 7 April 2012 against AS Trenčín.

Slovan Bratislava

On 3 December 2012, Slovak club ŠK Slovan Bratislava announced that the club had signed Soumah to a four and half-year contract. The transfer fee was €150.000. He made his debut for on 16 March against FK Dukla Banská Bystrica, entering in as a substitute in place of Erik Grendel. In his first season in Slovkia, he won the double. He scored his first goal on 4 August 2013 against Spartak Myjava. On 2 October 2014, Soumah made his UEFA Europa League debut against SSC Napoli. He scored his first UEFA Europa League goal on 27 November, against Young Boys.

Qadsia SC (loan)

In July 2015, it was officially announced that Soumah would join Kuwait Premier League club Qadsia SC on loan. He scored 14 goals in 20 matches and won the title.

2016–17 season: Return to Slovan

After a season spent in Kuwait on loan, Soumah returned to Slovan in June 2016. His first game for Slovan after one year was against Partizani Tirana in first qualifying round for 2016–17 UEFA Europa League on 28 June. On 17 July, Soumah scored his first goal in the season, netting the winner in a 1–0 away victory over Senica. On 20 November, Soumah scored twice for six minutes in a 2–1 home league victory over Ružomberok. Three days later, Soumah signed a contract which would keep him at the club until the summer of 2020. On 19 February, in the first match in 2017, Soumah scored a brace in a 2–0 away win against Tatran Prešov. In next round, Soumah scored the opening goal and later assisted to Tamás Priskin in Slovan's 4–3 home league victory over Trenčín. On 1 May, Soumah scored a goal against MFK Skalica in 2017 Slovnaft Cup Final. On 27 May, in last match of the season, he scored a twice in a 3–1 away win against Zemplín Michalovce.

Soumah finished the season as the league's top scorer (with 20 goals) together with Filip Hlohovský. He was also named in the league's best eleven due to his performances in the season.

Partizan

On 18 July 2017, Soumah signed a three-year contract with Serbian club Partizan and was given the number 20 shirt. On 22 July 2017, Soumah made his competitive debut, coming off the bench in a second-half against Mačva Šabac in a 6–1 home league win. A week later, Soumah scored his first goal for Partizan, against Javor in a 2–1 home league victory.

On 2 August 2017, Soumah scored in a 2–2 draw at Karaiskakis Stadium against Olympiacos in the third qualifying round for the UEFA Champions League.

International career

On 9 June 2013, he made his debut for Guinea against Mozambique. He played 85 minutes without goal and was substituted by A.Bangoura. Seydouba scored his first international goal on 10 September 2013, against Egypt. On 15 November 2014, he scored his first international hattrick against Togo.

In January 2015, was announced Guinean final squad for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and Seydouba was in it among the stars as Kévin Constant, Ibrahima Traoré or Kamil Zayatte. On 24 January 2015, Seydouba made his first ever match on the Africa Cup of Nations. It was game against Cameroon. He played until 66 minute without goal and then he was replaced by Naby Keïta.
