Sandeep Pampally, usually credited as Pampally, is an Indian film director and screenwriter from Kerala. He has created many short films of social impedance. He is also a writer with two published short story collections and a painter, sculptor and actor. He has directed telefilms, ad-films (advertisement films), talk shows and now works for Malayalam Film Industry. He is the proprietor of Pampally Productions, a registered concern for production of movies, short films, ads, tele-shows etc.

Personal life
Pampally was born on 22 March 1979 in Pantheeramkavu, Kozhikode, Kerala. He was born in a prominent Hindu family to P. Kumaran and C. Rema. His daughter's name is Peeli Pampally.
Early life
Pampally was honored first time at the age of four for his painting. He was selected as Kalaprathibha (champion of arts) in Calicut sub-district youth festival in school days. Won several achievements for painting, mono act, mimicry, drama, short story writing etc.Pampally has participated in several professional dramas as actor and director. He has won best actor twice in Inter Zonal drama competition. He worked as drama artist in Calicut All India Radio for many years and participated in five national radio drama festivals.Gradually he started writing short stories for contemporary literary magazines at the age of 21 and published two short story collections. During the Post graduation in Software programmer, he joined the computer section of Mathrubhumi daily in 2000. After resigned from Mathrubhumi daily in 2009, he started to work for film industry.
