Background
Saleema made her debut with Nakhakshathangal, a Malayalam movie in 1986. She is the daughter of famous Telugu actress Girija. She had acted in few Tamil, Kannada, Telugu movies as well.She was part of some tv serials also.
She remained largely invisible in the film industry for many years.
As of March 2017, she is making a comeback into the Malayalam film industry.
