Sachan

Sachan, (Hindi:सचान) is an Indian surname which has its origin from the word Sachanna (Hindi:सचाणा). The surname is mainly used by the prominent Kurmi Kshatriya Clan living in the region of Indo-Gangetic Plain around the area of ancient Panchala Mahajanpad Region (Central Doab and Rohilkhand Region) which is currently in and around Kanpur Uttar Pradesh in Northern India.
