Administer Goblin

Administer Goblin (Yu Jing-Ling or Yujingling, 御精灵) quadcopter is a quadrotor developed by Mr. Wu Jun-Qi. (吴俊琦). The origin of Administer Goblin dates back in 2007 when the development started by a group of undergraduate students at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) headed by Mr. Wu Jun-Qi. Mr. Wu Jun-Qi has continued the development of Administer Goblin after becoming a lecturer at Shanghai Jiao Tong University by making further improvement over the original model, and one of the most obvious distinction between the early model and later model is in the rotors utilized: while the early model utilizes four two-blade rotors, the later model utilizes four three-blade rotors. Administer Goblin has been deployed by local fire department as a reconnaissance UAV to provide real time video of fire. Specification:

  • Normal operating altitude (km): 0.5
  • Remote control range (km): 1
  • Size (cm): 50
  • Height (cm): 20
  • Speed (km/hr): 100
  • Weight (kg): 0.5
  • Hand-Held UAV

SJTU Hand-Held UAV is a micro air vehicle developed by University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute of SJTU. Hand-Held UAV is of conventional layout with T-tail, and propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven by a pusher engine installed behind the wing. The UAV is hand-launched and its primary mission is to survey the post disaster area to support rescue and relief efforts, and hence the complete name is Hand-Held Miniature Fixed Wing Rescue & Relief Unmanned Reconnaissance Aircraft (Shou-Pao-Shi Xiao-Xing Gu-Ding-Yi Ju-Yuan Wu-Ren Zhen-Cha-Ji, 手抛式小型固定翼救援无人侦查机).
