History
In the 2012–13 season, Vechta won the ProA by beating Gloria Giants Düsseldorf in the Finals and promoted to the Basketball Bundesliga, however, they finished last in the 2013-14 season and relegated back. In the 2015–16 season, Rasta promoted once again to the Bundesliga.
