Série noire is a Quebec Comedy-drama thriller series which was originally broadcast on Radio-Canada and TOU.TV in 2014–2015. It follows the two writers of a legal soap TV drama as they make their way through the criminal underworld in order to inspire them in the writing of the second season of their show. The show was critically acclaimed and won eleven Gémeaux awards in 2014.
