Being a theatre artist and having grown up in South Mumbai, Rytasha was initially very apprehensive to do a television soap but eventually caved in because playing a rural Haryanvi girl presented a challenge for her as an actor. Although her character on screen portrays a meek rural bride, Rytasha is the complete opposite in real life.
