Kestrels nwt roydon common norfolk
Roydon Common is a reserve near King’s Lynn in the county of Norfolk, England. Norfolk Wildlife Trustref owns and manages this reserve. Rare species located here include bog asphodel and all three types of sundew. The size of the resesrve is: 474.5 Acres (192 dhectares) with the mire 4covering the majority of the site with thoe exception of an oak and ash woodland to the east.

History
The common was declared a national nature reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1995 as it is one of the largest area of heathland and valley mire in the countyref.
Species
Uncommon plant species include black bogrush, marsh fern, cranberry, bog asphodel, common cotton-grass, all three species of sundew and sphagnum moss. The common also supports some uncommon dragonfly species such as broad-bodied chaser and black darter. Many species of flowers grow in grassy clearings on the drier ground which attract butterflies such as green and purple hairstreaks and brown argus.
