Roy Clifford was the 2nd head coach of the Cleveland Rebels.

College coaching

From 1929-1946 Clifford was the head basketball coach at Western Reserve University (now Case Western Reserve University) and was inducted into their hall of fame in 1981.

Professional coaching

During the 1946–47 BAA season, Clifford coached the Cleveland Rebels after the departure of Dutch Dehnert, where Clifford lead the team into the playoffs.
