A. Ladson (born December 7 1983), better known by his stage name Rayne Storm, is an American rapper and producer from Harlem, New York. He initially gained attention in 2006 from his mixtape Storms Coming. Since the release of his mixtape, Rayne has been signed to Digiindie and has made a number of guest appearances. On January 1, 2016, Rayne released his EP titled Supreme with features from Teyana Taylor, Tash (rapper) of Tha Alkaholiks, DecadeZ and more.

Early life
Rayne was raised in Harlem and spent most of his life in the city of New York. He is of African American and Native American descent. At a young age Rayne had a love for music and began writing rhymes while a sophomore in high school. After graduating Rayne joined Art Start's Hip-Hop Project, which collaborated with Russell Simmons and others, leading to the documentary The Hip Hop Project, executive produced by Bruce Willis and Queen Latifah. Rayne spent a few years recording with independent label Ravenel Records before pursuing his own independent career.
Career
In 2006, he released his first mixtape Storms Coming which gained him a little recognition. He later released the mixtapes The Unkrowned King, Storms Coming TWS Edition and the Supreme: Rare Cuts mixtape, solidifying his commitment to music. In 2016, he released his first EP, Supreme, of six songs including new versions of his songs All Black and World Premiere.
Artistry
Rayne is known for his raw lyricism and unique production style. He is influenced by Big L, Jay Z, Styles P, Jadakiss, Nas, The Game (rapper), The Notorious B.I.G. & Tupac.
Personal life
Rayne was a television and radio show host for Teen Talk Productions while attending high school. As a host of the television show, he won a PASS Award for a show about the September 11 attacks. As a radio show host he interviewed "World Hop" artist Don Yute and 1990s R&B singer Horace Brown.
