History
RapidVisa was founded in Colorado Springs in 2006 by Ben Ives, who wrote the software after finding it cumbersome when he and his wife manually filed for a K-1 visa.
In 2016, the company relocated from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas due to a new Colorado law prohibiting nonlawyer immigration services, including software.
2014 Colorado Supreme Court Investigation
In 2014 RapidVisa was investigated by the Colorado Supreme Court for the unauthorized practice of law. The case was dismissed when the Attorney Regulation Counsel found that the company had not engaged in the unauthorized practice of law.
