The institute offers courses in engineering, pharmacy and management. B.Tech, B.Pharma, MCA, and MBA programs are offered under affiliation from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow.

Achievements

The college is a regular participant of SAE India's BAJA competition and is one of the few colleges in NCR to have qualified twice in a row, and failed the same times. Students of this college have consistently won technical competitions organised by various universities,and in the college itself. Students of this college consistently figure in the university's merit list.

Placements

The on-campus placements for the B.tech course are below average with 44 students getting placed in the 2014 batch.(counting multiple placements as different students). Placements for the MBA course are decent as most of the students manage to get placed,in organizations named and famous.

CCT Academy

RKG Group has established Center for Cloud Technologies (CCT). CCT is a multipurpose facility that functions as a catalyst for the development and growth of students those desirous to work on virtualization, cloud computing and Big Data. This center is accredited as VMware IT Academy. CCT also provide a work space with computing and printing facility for Industry sponsored projects. Industry mentors are available to provide advice in planning, development and testing of these projects. An in-house support team also provides assistance for completion of these projects. Ten students of B.tech CSE final year have successfully established a prototype of "private cloud Infrastructure" in the center under the guidance of faculty and industry persons. YantriKom

The collegiate club of mechanical engineering, comprising Orion, the robotics club, Ingenium, the SAE club and the Flying club. YantriKom consistently organizes seminars on weekends skipping 4 or 5 to teach various practical aspects of engineering and actively encourages students to become better engineers,managers and politics players.Many esteem students have turned out to be diary carriers.

Electrazz

Electrazz Club has concerns related to electronics and electrical engineering. The department along with their hardworking students and co-operative faculty regularly organises such events which helps the students in technical field, their academics and improve their innovative ideas leading to a better future.

RKGIT CSI Student Branch

RKGIT is affiliated with Computer Society of India till 2016.It is one one of the best promising branch under CSI Ghaziabad Chapter.Dr. Kavita Saxena is the present SBC of Student Branch.The objective of student branch is to bridge the gap between industry and academe. This student branch is the one of the active branch of the Ghaziabad chapter frequently organizes workshops/conferences/ conventions to interact with academicians /IT experts/Research Scholars at national level. College has one of the Oldest Technical group started in 2003 to support GNU/Linux & Opensource . RKGLUG is under the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). Group involves Students/Teachers/Alumni activity are constantly running for the students .

Association of Electronics & Communication Engineers is society of ECE students of RKGIT. AECE runs under the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering.It improves Technical Skills as well as Soft Skills of the students .
