"Skinner's Raisin Bran" was the first raisin bran brand on the market, introduced in the United States in 1926 by the Skinner Manufacturing Company.
The name "Raisin Bran" was at one time trademarked by Skinner, however in 1944 the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit found:
