Qian Daxin (simplified Chinese: 钱大昕; traditional Chinese: 錢大昕; Wade–Giles: Ch'ien Ta-hsin; 1728–1804) was a Qing dynasty scholar-official, historian, and linguist. He served as a commissioner of education and examinations in Guangdong Province.

As the proponent of kaozheng approach, Qian Daxin criticized moralizing ("praise and blame") interpretations of the Spring and Autumn Annals and argued that the importance of history should be deemed as valid as importance of classics.
