La Pitoune is a Log Flume ride at the Montreal's La Ronde amusement park.

History
La Pitoune opened the same year as La Ronde, in 1967. In 2007, it celebrated its 40 years, and it's one of the 7 original rides of La Ronde still operating. The 6 others are Le Galopant, Tchou Tchou, Joyeux moussaillons, La Marche du Mille Pattes (previously petite montagne russe), the Minirail and La Spirale.
Ride Experience
After a first 180 degrees turn, riders enter a conveyor belt. At the end, riders follow the flume which will bring you back to almost ground level during a series of gentle falls and turns, and after another conveyor belt, riders end their ride with the last chute.
