Pimple Gurav is an upcoming residential area in PCMC. One of the major attractions in Pimple Gurav is the Rajmata Jijau Garden (also called Dinosaur Park) with a big statue (around 40 ft) of a dinosaur. Lots of people visit here every day and this is one of the most sought-after gardens in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The charge for Park entry is 10Rs per adult person and 5rs for children.

The newly developed 6-lane Nashik Phata to Wakad bypass passes through Pimple Gurav, providing excellent connectivity to Pimple Gurav and surrounding areas. The bypass enters the multi-layered Nashik Phata flyover just after crossing Pimple Gurav. The bypass is planned to be a BRTS route.

Pimple Gurav is surrounded by Pimple Saudagar to its West, New Sangavi and Old Sangvi to its South, Dapodi to its West and Kasarwadi to its North. Besides this it also has Pawana River flowing from its West side

The proposed bypass will offer good road connectivity to residents of Pimple Gurav and nearby areas to the Software Technology Park (STP) in Hinjawadi. Also there is Good connectivity of Tathawade IT Park via Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, EON IT Park and Magarpatta City IT park via Khadki to Yerwada.

In Pimple Gurav, there is a famous Kerala Guruvayur "Sri Krishna" temple. Devotees in the surrounding areas visit this temple very regularly and chant vedas.

15 years ago, the entire area of Pimple Gurav was no more than a village with fields around. But in the past few years, it has developed with an eyes popping speed. There are major housing societies are built in recent times, one of the famous and major housing society in this area is Kalpataru Estate which is consisting of 2 club houses and Kate Puram society which is towards New Sanghvi. It has roughly 288 flats with 2 club houses,1 swimming pool, 2 children's park and 3 lawns. A big mall near this society is under construction. (Name yet to be decided )

Pimple Gurav is one also having good Residential and Commercial Projects going on which gives beautiful Views to Area. There is a big PMPML bus stop near the dinosaur park at the heart of the Pimple Gurav with buses for Hadapsar, Katraj, Deccan, Market Yard, Dapodi, Pune Station, Kothrud, Pune Corporation, Akurdi Railway Station, Warje Malwadi, Appa Balwant Chowk, etc. in the main Pune city.

Pimple Gurav received a new Pin Code (411061) recently . Previously it was sharing Aundh Gaon post office with other nearby places. The prominent areas that will be covered under Pimple Gurav post office are Sudarshannagar, Javalkarnagar, Kirtinagar, Kavadenagar, Ramnagar, Vinayaknagar, besides the New Sangvi, Kate puram and gaothan areas of Pimple Gurav.
