Peter Ho (born September 13, 1975) is a Chinese American singer, actor and model based in Taiwan. Since his debut in 1998, he has released seven albums and has starred in over 25 films and television series, such as Wind and Cloud, the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon television series, One Meter Sunshine and The Young Warriors.
Ho also appeared in the 2003 tokusatsu film Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Lost as Leo/Kamen Rider Psyga; the first non-Japanese Kamen Rider.
Ho was born in Los Angeles, California, but was raised in Taiwan and Canada. His parents are from Hong Kong. He studied at Ontario College of Art and Design, and began his singing career after being offered a record deal in a karaoke bar. Ho first started out as a model, and became well known after filming a television commercial, "黑松沙士——记者篇", as a reporter. In 1998, he released his debut album in Taiwan, and then also went to Hong Kong. Although it caught a lot of attention, his singing career did not become a success. Ho later moved on to acting in Chinese television dramas. He put most of his efforts in mainland China, but his debut in Japan yielded good results as well. Summer's Desire is Ho's first television series as a producer.
