Pescara Jazz is the name of an international jazz festival that takes place every year in July at Pescara, Italy.

When it started in 1969 it was the first Italian summer festival dedicated to jazz music, and it is one of the most important in Europe. In 2009 the 37th edition of the festival to place. It has been going on continuously since 1981, with a five year hiatus.

The festival has hosted all the greatest names of jazz music: Pescara's audience have had the pleasure to listen at the music of, among others, Philly Joe Jones, Larry Vuckovich, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughan, Charles Mingus, Woody Herman, Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Chet Baker, Wayne Shorter until the most recent performances of Natalie Cole, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Stan Getz. Furthermore, through the years, Pescara jazz festival has welcomed different musical styles, seeking to explore the work of musicians of great appeal but also with a high quality, as Paco de Lucia, Burt Bacharach, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Al Jarreau, Caetano Veloso, James Taylor, Ástor Piazzolla, Gary Burton.
