Paul Waggoner is the lead guitarist of the American progressive metal band, Between the Buried and Me from North Carolina. Being a fan of progressive music, he is heavily inspired by John Petrucci, Pat Metheny, Allan Holdsworth and Steve Vai, amongst others. He formerly played guitar in the metalcore band, Prayer for Cleansing. He played live guitar as needed for Lamb Of God between 2010 and 2014. Waggoner is vegan and straight edge. Paul also owns and operates Parliament Coffee Roasters, a small-batch specialty grade coffee roastery based in Charlotte, NC. He is an avid lover of sports and played baseball and basketball in his youth. Paul is married with no children.
