Corporate structure

PITCL was originally created as a joint venture company between a wholly owned subsidiary of KMB Group (operator of Kowloon Motor Bus) and a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Kong & Kowloon Ferry Limited (HKKF). PITCL was a wholly owned subsidiary of Transport International Holdings Limited. After 2009, it became the wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties.

Bus

PITCL operates six bus routes:

  • NR330 - Ma Wan (Park Island) to Tsing Yi (in Tsing Yi Station)
  • NR331 - Ma Wan (Pak Yan Road) to Tsuen Wan MTR Station
  • NR331s - Ma Wan ⇔ Tsuen Wan West MTR station and Nina Tower, via Tai Ho Road Flyover
  • NR332 - Ma Wan (Park Island) to Kwai Fong (between Metroplaza and Kwai Tsing Theatre, near Kwai Fong Station)
  • NR334 - Ma Wan (Park Island) to Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 & 2 (and with a stop at Cathay Pacific City)
  • NR338 - Ma Wan (Park Island) to Central Piers (Night route for the replacement of ferry)
  • At the beginning, PITCL operated six second-hand Dennis Dart SLFs bought from KMB. Between 2003 and 2008, due to the rapid growth of residents in Park Island, the company bought new Dennis Dart SPDs from the UK and the very first Designline Olymbus electronic-motivated HEV bus from New Zealand which is more environmentally friendly. The three Designline buses had been withdrawn in 2008/2010.

    List of PITCL buses:

  • 1 Dennis Dart SLF (from Kowloon Motor Bus)
  • 13 Dennis Super Pointer Dart (SLF)
  • 1 Toyota Coaster
  • 8 Young Man JNP6122G
  • 2 Lion Bus LBC6101
  • Ferry

PITCL operates a fleet of 6 high-speed double-deck air-conditioned catamarans. The only ferry route is Ma Wan to Central Piers (Pier 2).

Another route, Ma Wan to Tsuen Wan Pier (next to the MTR Tsuen Wan West Station), was discontinued on 13 December 2012 after 10 years of operation.
