It is very near and just 5 km from Vempalle of Kadapa district.
Population
The total population of the village is 1371 containing 669 male and 702 female. Though it is a small village, it has cultural diversity containing the people belong to the religions Hindu, Muslim and Christian. It contains a temple of Lord Rama of Hindus, a masjid of the Muslims and a church for Christians.
Education
It has a primary school, or elementary school and Z.P.H.S school, which are helpful in improving the literacy of the villages around.
