It provides 5 year MBBS degree. Present college is running behind the mental hospital building. Construction of new medical college building is running rapidly. The medical college will be shifted at the new location very soon. Then, it will be a modern and technology based medical college. Now the medical college is running with 250 beds hospital. After completing the construction, the number of beds will be increased at 500 beds. There are hostels for boys and girls student. There also some quarters for teachers. Govt. Is now providing modern instruments for this medical college. It has all the major branches of medical education. It is the 15 th medical college among 19 public medical colleges in Bangladesh.
