Career
In November 2015 IAM Cycling announced that Naesen would join them for the 2016 season. He competed in his first Grand Tour at the 2016 Tour de France.. With the IAM cycling team having announced it would fold at the end of the 2016 season, Naesen signed a two year contract with AG2R La Mondiale. He won the 2017 Belgian National Road Race Championships.
