The company’s flagship product is WebExit, an online exit interview management system The technology's initial release was in January 2001 and was the first of its kind in the automated exit interview field. It is provided via a SaaS based model. A related product, FirstDays, allows companies to survey new hire employees at various intervals in order to help acclimate them with the company and reduce early turnover of employees. The company’s third product, Mentor Scout, is software for managing corporate mentoring programs and association mentoring programs.

History

Nobscot was co-founded by Beth N. Carvin and Bruce H. Daly in 2000. The company was self funded without any outside investment. Initial clients included First Hawaiian Bank, Campbell Soup Company and Conair Corporation. The Mentor Scout division was created in 2003 to focus on mentoring software for corporations and associations. Nobscot's FirstDays product was released in mid-2008, which was designed to help companies reduce new employee departures. In 2014, Mentor Scout underwent a brand redesign working with BigFan a design agency out of Bristol UK.

Recognition

In 2001, Nobscot's WebExit was awarded the Top 10 HR Technology Products of the Year award by HR Executive Magazine. In 2007, the company won the Top HR and Training Award for Mentor Scout, Talent Networking Edition. In 2015, Nobscot CEO Beth N. Carvin was invited to speak at the Hawaii Venture Capital Association forum, entitled "Women in Technology."

In 2011, Nobscot began its global "Mentor of the Year" award recognition. The Mentor of the Year Award is chosen from hundreds of nominees—and from a pool of more than 5000 mentors worldwide.
