Nikki Patel is an English actress. She is best known for portraying the role of Amber Kalirai the daughter of Dev Alahan, in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2005 to 2009, then from 2011 to 2012, before departing the serial show on 23 March 2012.

Acting career
Patel joined the cast of Coronation Street in late 2005, playing Dev's daughter Amber Kalirai, after four years she left the show to pursue other acting roles and to go to university. In summer 2011, Amber returned to Coronation Street and left the show again in March 2012. She had numerous dramatic and emotional story lines during her time in the show, including ruining Sophie and Sian's wedding, her step mother Sunita Alahan taking dislike to her personality and partying as well as her turbulent relationships.
In 2006, she appeared in an episode of the BBC drama Waterloo Road. She played a character called Shazia Patel.
