Nikil Saval

Career

Nikil Saval is a Philadelphia-based writer. He is an editor for n+1 and was previously an editorial assistant for two publishing companies. He is represented by the literary agent Edward Orloff at McCormick & Williams.

His book, Cubed: A Secret History of the Workplace, published in 2014, examines the long-term evolution of the office from its roots in nineteenth century 'counting houses' to contemporary 'cubicles' where 60% of Americans work, and considers how such workplaces could be improved in the future. It was published by Doubleday in a “significant deal" i.e. low to mid six figures.
