After making his debut in the lower league, Pépé made his professional debut in November 2014, in a 1–1 Ligue 2 draw against Ajaccio.
International career
Pépé was born in France to parents of Ivorian descent. He received a callup to the Ivory Coast national football team in November 2016. He made his debut for Ivory Coast in a friendly 0-0 tie against his birth nation France on 15 November 2016.
