New Orleans Piano is a 1972 album by Professor Longhair. It consists of material previously released by Atlantic Records recorded in 1949 and 1953 plus alternate takes.
Contents
The 1953 recording of "Tipitina" was added to the US National Recording Registry in 2011.
In 2003, the album was ranked number 220 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
