Nessa is a Muslim. Her father is Egyptian and her mother is an Arab from the Middle East.
She reportedly started dating Colin Kaepernick, an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League (NFL), in July 2015. Kaepernick officially went public about their relationship in February 2016.
