In December 2013, National Storage listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) forming National Storage REIT (NSR), the first publicly listed independent, internally managed and fully integrated owner and operator of self-storage centres in Australia.

The National Storage offers self-storage, business storage, records management, climate controlled wine storage, vehicle storage, vehicle and trailer hire, packaging, insurance and other value added services.
The NSR portfolio houses over 56,000 storage units across a total net lettable area of approximately 523,000 sqm.
They are currently one of the premier sponsors of the Brisbane Broncos, a major sponsor of the Melbourne Stars, Perth Glory, and gold sponsors of Richmond Football Club. National Storage are also Associate Partners of the Brisbane Bullets, and sponsors of Brisbane Heat. From 2013 to 2015, they were a major sponsors of the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League.

History
National Storage was founded in December 2000, in a merger between Stowaway Self Storage, National Mini Storage and Premier Self Storage. While each company was a leader in its own right, the union consolidated over 30 years’ experience in the industry and created a network of centres that delivered tailored storage solutions for residential and commercial customers.
