Nandikurali is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in the Raybag taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka.

This village is very much popular in politics. It has a very well known temple named "Panchalingeshwar " which is headed by Swamiji Sri Sri Sri Veerabhadreshwar Swamiji who is originally from Badami taluk Haliyal village.

This village has a population around 7412 according to the 2010 census. There are about 1000 houses in the village. Many people reside in their own fields in order to look after their occupation, agriculture, fields, crops, etc. Many are farmers and agriculturists whose livelihoods depend on their fields and crops. The main crop being cultivated is sugarcane but maize, wheat, onion, vegetables, etc. are also produced. About 80% of the villagers grow sugarcane. Many people carry out various activities like sewing, carpentry, cobblery; some are gold smiths, etc. "Pavan Tailor" is a tailoring shop in village headed by Naiku Mali. Some of the important families residing here are Kadapure Vadeyar, Sangote, Mangure, Hirekurabar, Mali, Gundkalle, Bankare and Ghadkare.

The village has two streams which are supplied with water from lake "Hullyal Keri" which is originated in Raybag taluk. This lake is filled from "Hidkal Dam" through a very long canal connected to it. This village gets the flow of lake for 4 months from the month of June - October. Many lands are being irrigated through these streams.

The village has a highest number of "Joggery Houses " in Raibag taluk. Preparation of joggery takes place in many varieties like white, red, black etc. The village has very well record of production of the very best quality of joggery in this taluk. There are more than 60 joggery houses in the village alone, which are being run by many persons in the village. The product is exported to various places like Sangli, Belgaum, Hubli, Kolhapur, Mahalingpur, etc. The joggery has very well demand in the market. The best joggery houses in the village are " Kedaraling Bell Tayarika Ghataka", "Amogh Siddeshwar Bell Tayarika Ghataka" and Aranya Siddeshawar Bell Tayarika Ghatak".

The village also has some private banks: " Srinidhi Bank ", "Kedarling Bank ", "Jyotiba Phule Bank", "Panchalingeshwar Bank" and many more. There are more than four education institutes are being run by government as well as private sectors. This village has surrounded by various temples like Pancalingeshwar temple, Basaveshwar temple, Hanuman temple, Yellamma Temple, etc. A very big fair takes place twice in a year of Pancalingeshwar temple. A 5 days fair will take place in the month of April every year of this temple. A very famous Swamiji's from various places will attend this fair and make it bright.

History

It is said that Nandikurali used to be called as Nandigram due to a Nandi statue. Nandi had been destroyed by some thieves.

Since then people started calling it Nandi-Koral, koral in Kannada means neck. Later it was modified to Nandikurali.
