Only local trains serve Nakatsuno Station. There is a single platform serving one track, and the station is unstaffed.

Surrounding area

  • The station is located on the northern embankment of the Kuzuryū River; further north of it are rice fields.
  • Approximately one kilometer east are Jin-ai Women’s College and Amaike Riverside Park. JR West Morita Station is closer to both, however.

  • December 20, 1928: Station opens.
  • September 1, 1942: Keifuku Electric Railway merges with Mikuni Awara Electric Railway.
  • June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
  • July 20, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
