The NWA Anniversary Show was a professional wrestling promotional event held from 1998 until 2008, celebrating the anniversary of the 1948 founding of the National Wrestling Alliance. The event began with the 50th anniversary show in 1998, and was held annually until 2008, with the exception of 2006 and 2007.

The NWA 50th Anniversary Show took place on October 24, 1998 at the Hilton Hotel in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

  • The International Males (Christopher Daniels and Kevin Quinn) defeated The Hollywood Hardbodies (Danny Dominion and Ace Steel) to become the first NWA Midwest Tag Team Champions.
  • Primo Carnera III and TNT defeated Lord Zeig and Patch.
  • EZ Ryder defeated NWA/PWX Tag Team Champion Paul Atlas to become the first NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion.
  • Tre fought The Inferno Kid and Ray Odyssey to a double-countout to retain the NWA New England Cruiserweight Championship.
  • Steve Williams won a 14-man WWF Dojo Battle Royal.
  • Also in the match were: Kurt Angle, Babu, Steve Corino, Christopher Daniels, Teddy Hart, Barry Houston, Glenn Kulka, Andrew Martin, Tom Prichard, Giant Silva, Tiger Ali Singh, Shawn Stasiak and Devon Storm.
  • Abdullah the Butcher defeated T. Rantula.
  • The Headbangers (Mosh and Thrasher) defeated NWA North American Tag Team Champions The Tennessee Volunteers (Steven Dunn and Reno Riggins) by disqualification.
  • The Tennessee Volunteers retained the title.
  • The Extreme (Ace Darling and Devon Storm) defeated The Misfits (Harley Lewis and Lupus) (c) to win the NWA 2000 Tag Team Championship.
  • The Brotherhood (Knuckles Nelson & Eric Sbraccia) defeated The Border Patrol (Agent Carson & Agent Gunn) (c), Team Extreme (Kit Carson & Khris Germany) and Tully Blanchard & Tom Prichard in a Four Corners match to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
  • Dan Severn defeated Steven Regal to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
  • Steve Corino, Lance Diamond, Doug Gilbert and Rik Ratchett defeated Dead Man Walking, The Pitbulls (#1 and #2) and NWA National Heavyweight Champion Stevie Richards in a Steel Cage match.
  • Richards' title was on the line for the match. Gilbert got the pinfall on Richards to win the title.
  • 1999

    The NWA 51st Anniversary Show, subtitled "Battle of the Belts 1999", took place on September 25, 1999 at the Grady Cole Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

  • Triple xXx (Drake Dawson and Curtis Thompson) defeated The Sex Pistols (Shane Austin and David Young).
  • Triple xXx advances to an NWA World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match later in the show.
  • Team Extreme (Kit Carson and Khris Germany) defeated Gene Austin and Tommy Starr.
  • Team Extreme advances to an NWA World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender's match later in the show.
  • The Canadian Cartel (Crusher Carlsen and Michelle Starr) fought The Rage (Quinn Magnum and Samu) to a no-contest.

    The NWA 52nd Anniversary Show, took place over two events, subtitled "Battle of the Belts 2000" and "Showcase of the Stars", on October 14 and 15 2000 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

  • Damaja and Nick Dinsmore defeated NWA Ohio Valley Heavyweight Champion Rob Conway and Flash Flanagan.
  • James Storm defeated Big Bully Douglas.
  • Strawberry Fields defeated Leilani Kai to win the vacant NWA World Women's Championship.
  • The title had been vacant since it was stripped from Debbie Combs in October 1996.
  • Vince Kaplack defeated Tony Kozina to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.

  • Sudden Impact (Chris Gatlin and Steve Lane) defeated Disturbing Behavior (Jeff Daniels and Tim Renesto) (with Dominique) to win the NWA Mid-America Tag Team Championship.

  • The title had been held up after a match between these teams on October 5 in Springfield, Tennessee. This was a rematch.
  • 2008

    The NWA 60th Anniversary Show took place on June 7, 2008 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Although it was the best-attended of all the Anniversary Show events, arena officials believed the crowd to be the smallest that the 18,000-seat venue had ever seen.

  • Iceberg (with Dan Wilson) defeated Mikael Judas and Shatter (with Jeff G. Bailey) in a Triple Threat match to retain the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship.
  • Abdullah the Butcher (with John Cheatum) fought Tommy Rich to a no-contest.
  • Blue Demon, Jr. and Sean Waltman defeated Rob Conway and Carl Ouellet.
  • Mike Quackenbush defeated Ricky Vega to retain the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
  • Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) defeated The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens) and The Real American Heroes (Karl Anderson & Joey Ryan with C. Edward Vander Pyle) in a Triple Threat elimination match to retain the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
