History

The station opened on 10 September 1929.

Station numbering was introduced on all Seibu Railway lines during fiscal 2012, with Musashi-Yokote Station becoming "SI29".

Passenger statistics

In fiscal 2014, the station had the second fewest number of passengers on the Seibu network with an average of 310 passengers daily. This was 66 more than Shōmaru, the least used station on the network.
