Mundumala municipality is Old Badhar Union. Its Boundary by Badhar Union to the north and north-east. Kolma Union to the east, Pakri to the south and Amnura to the West. The biggest Borendro anchol is here.

There are not any rivers in this municipality but a big canal (khari-খাড়ি) goes to into there.

Economy

Apart from the usual agricultural products of Bangladesh, such as rice, potatoes and lentils, Mundumala and its neighboring Village are specially suited from various crops such as Watermelons, Sugarcanes, Mangoes and Jackfruites. Main Economical Products in Mundumala is Paddy. Before 1995 here farmers cultivate 1time in season but nowadays they cultivate 3time in a season. Here Every Monday organized A HAT(হাট)। হাট খেকে মুণ্ডুমালার মুল উপার্জনটা আসে। হাটের দিন এখানে খুচরা এবং পাইকারি বিক্রেতারা বাজার নিয়ে বসে। এখানে নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় সকল কিছু পাওয়া যায়। যেমন- চাল,তেল,কাচা বাজার, মশলা-পাতি,মাছ-মাংস, পোশাক, হাড়ি-পাতিল,খাবার জিনিস ইত্যাদি। এই দিন এখানে বড় গরু-ছাগোল এর হাটও বসে। Everyday A small market sit in Mundumala bazar.
