History

Part of the Mackenzie Mountains, it was first climbed by Bill Buckingham and Lew Surdam in July 1965.

Today

As of 2008, the Canadian Government continues to refer to the mountain as "unnamed peak", however, the name "Mount Nirvana" is commonly depicted in alpine literature.
