Mose Masoe (born 17 May 1989) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer of Samoan descent who currently plays for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Kingstone Press Championship. A Samoan national representative prop, he previously played for the Sydney Roosters, Penrith Panthers and the St. George Illawarra Dragons and for St. Helens in the Super League, with whom he won the 2014 Super League Grand Final.

Club career

Born in Wellington, New Zealand to Samoan Parents, Masoe played his junior football for the Randwick Kingfishers in the Wellington Rugby League competition and the Wellington Orcas in the Bartercard Cup. Masoe also played for the Junior Kiwis.
National Rugby League

Masoe was signed by the Sydney Roosters. He played for the Roosters' NYC team in 2008 and 2009, scoring 2 tries in 17 games before moving on to the Roosters' NSW Cup reserve-grade team, the Newtown Jets.

In Round 12 of 2010 NRL season he made his NRL début for the Sydney Roosters against the Gold Coast Titans. During the 2010 season Masoe was selected in the Samoan and New Zealand train on squads
Masoe was part of the Newtown Jets team that won the 2012 NSW State Cup competition. On 7 December 2012, Masoe signed a 2-year contract with the Penrith Panthers starting in 2013.
Super League
On 26 June 2013, Masoe signed a 2-year contract with English Super League team St. Helens starting in 2014 after being released from the final year of his Panthers contract. He joined the club alongside Penrith Panthers team member Luke Walsh who had also signed a 2-year contract with the Saints.
St. Helens reached the 2014 Super League Grand Final and Masoe was selected to play as a starting prop in their 14-6 victory over Wigan Warriors.
Return to National Rugby League
On 29 June 2015, Masoe signed a 2-year contract with the St. George Illawarra Dragons starting in 2016. Although, he is yet to make his début due to an ACL injury where he is expected to be out for the season.
Hull KR
Masoe penned a deal to join Hull Kingston Rovers for the remainder of 2017 season.
International career
During the 2013 season Masoe was selected in the Samoan and New Zealand train on squads, opting to play for Samoa. Due to Masoe's exceptional performance in the 2013 season he was selected in the Samoan squad and made his début at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
On 7 October 2014, Masoe was selected in the Samoa national rugby league team 24 man squad for the Four Nations series. In July 2017 it was announced that he had signed for Championship side Hull Kingston Rovers.
