His great-grandfather, Louis St. Laurent, was the twelfth Prime Minister of Canada from November 15, 1948, to June 21, 1957. MSL's website (M.SL) was the first one character .SL domain name - M.SL..
Wrestling career
Mister Saint Laurent began his career in the late 1990s and credits Duke Droese with his initial training. Mister Saint Laurent won the Southwest Championship Award in 2004, he formed a tag team with "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko in 2006. Later that year, he began working as a broadcaster for Ring of Honor, under his birth name "Jared David." On May 6, 2005, James Hendrix & Amy Love defeated Team Vision (Chasyn Rance & Mister Saint Laurent) in the NWA Florida 2005: A Wrestling Odyssey.
On April 18, 2008, Team Vision consisting of Mister Saint Laurent and Chasyn Rance won the AWA World Tag Team Championship. The controversy was Team Vision "defeated Kirby Mack and T.J. Mack after the champions Heartbreak Express no-showed for the title defense and were stripped of the title by Dale Gagne. The Heartbreak Express had officially resigned from being a part of AWA Worldwide and relinquished the AWA World Tag Team Titles that same day." That same year, Mister Saint Laurent ranked 450 out of 500 in PWI's 2008 list.
His longtime valet is Total Nonstop Action Wrestling alum SoCal Val.
In 2010, Mister Saint Laurent created Scott Hall TV, a reality series starring himself, Scott Hall, Larry Zbyszko, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman. The show consisted of fourteen Youtube videos generating over a million views combined and attracted attention for showcasing behind the scenes footage featuring well known wrestlers. Reports also surfaced in 2010 that Mister Saint Laurent had been hired by the Wilpon family to help start a new wrestling project. In 2011, Mister Saint Laurent worked with several former WWE creative team members on a reality series starring former UFC champion Frank Shamrock in his quest to legalize Mixed Martial Arts in the state of New York.
Mister Saint Laurent began co-hosting a podcast for Major League Wrestling at the beginning of 2012. Notable guests have included Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins, The Ultimate Warrior, Montel Vontavious Porter, and Robert Flores from ESPN. In the Summer of 2012, Mexican wrestler Konnan joined MLW Radio as MSL's co-host.
Conflict with Guns N' Roses
In May 2007, MSL was credited for leaking unreleased song mixes from Guns N' Rose's forthcoming “Chinese Democracy" album, “The Blues”, “I.R.S.” and “There Was a Time" from the then still unreleased Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy. MetalSucks reported the song remixes leaked "due to an absolutely unbelievable con pulled by someone who calls himself Mister Saint Laurent." ClassicRock magazine called the theft "the great robbery" MSL was one of the individuals credited for starting rumors of a 2011 tour and a Chinese Democracy album relaunch on a Guns N' Roses fan forum. Axl Rose spoke out against all the false rumors in a press release.
