The National Beauty Contest in Colombia on its 80th edition took place on November 17, 2014 in the city of Cartagena de Indias. In the evening of election and coronation, Paulina Vega Dieppa from Atlántico delivered the crown to Ariadna Gutiérrez from Sucre as well as the rest of the royal jewels. Ariadna Gutiérrez represented Colombia at Miss Universe 2015, and placed 1st Runner-Up.

  • Ariadna María Gutiérrez Arévalo was released by several news media as Miss Sucre 2013 and represent the department in the last version of the National Beauty Contest, but due to personal reasons she could not compete .

    • Withdrawals

  • Estefany Lizeth Orozco Amel, Miss Magdalena 2014, on September 25 released a statement in which the withdrawal of the candidate reportedly due to a severe relapse in her health, she had medical complications that made it impossible for her presence at the event, the contest appointed a replacement.
  • Leydi Carolina Carvajal, Miss Nariño 2014 on 31 October issued a press release mentioning the medical part of the Free University Corporation Comfenalco Valley where the withdrawal of the candidate reportedly due to a second degree sprain to his right ankle so it will be disabled for two weeks making it impossible for her presence at the event, therefore, the department did not participate in this year's contest but will be special invited to all events.

  • Maribel Mendoza Londoño 1st Runner Up of Señorita Cundinamarca 2014 replaced Michel Gomez.
  • Natalia Ochoa Calle 1st Runner Up of Señorita Antioquia 2014 replaced Paola Builes Aristizábal.
  • María Eugenia Baglio Doria replaced Señorita Córdoba 2014, Leidy Carolina Espinosa Galván who got dethroned.
  • Yesica Paola Morán Hernández 1st Runner Up of Señorita Magdalena 2014 replaced a Estefany Lizeth Orozco Amel.
  • Jealisse Andrea Tovar Velásquez was appointed 2014 Miss Choco and was registered at the national competition supported by the Miss Colombia 2001, Vanessa Alexandra Mendoza Bustos ; Iliam Fariza Zapata Jensen was chosen by the competition chaired by the Departmental Committee, so that the department had for about a month with two title . After several meetings at the head of the National Competition Policy is decided that Iliam Fariza Zapata Jensen who participate this year, Andrea Tovar will participate in the 2015 version of the national competition. Andrea later became Miss Colombia 2015.
