The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) (Somali: Wasaarada Qorsheynta iyo xiriirka caalamiga) is a government ministry responsible for socioeconomic planning and statistics management in Somalia. The current Minister is Abdirahman Aynte.

Mission
The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation is responsible for, and is keen on planning and coordinating the development priorities and activities of all national, regional and local authorities as well as development partners in a more coherent and organized manner in line with the objectives of the Federal Government of Somalia.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan the socio-economic of the country
- Propose laws concerning the work of the ministry
- Prepare and present the periodical report of the activities of the Ministry,
- To coordinate activities related to institutional and capacity development for the country as a whole and government institutions in particular.
- To develop, implement and maintain national planning for sustainable social and economic development.
- To supervise, monitor and evaluate national projects, statistical activities and surveys in the country.
Ministry consists of four parts; the General Directorate of Planning, the National Institute of Statistics, International Cooperation and Monitaring and Evaluation.
