Mesgen Amanov (born September 6, 1986) is a chess grandmaster from Turkmenistan. He is the highest rated player in his country, and has represented Turkmenistan in 4 Chess Olympiads. In January 2012 Grandmaster Amanov started MACA (Mesgen Amanov Chess Academy) in Illinois and raised top students all over the country. In 2015 GM Mesgen Amanov launched ImproveMyChess.com which is considered to be one of the most successful online video chess training programs.
