Mesaraonye Ikechukwu Samuel (born September 3, 1992 in Nigeria) is a Nigerian football Midfielder who currently is a free agent.He began playing football in the streets of Kaduna in 1999. His football skills and abilities drew a lot of attention to him and afforded him the opportunity to play in Nigeria Football Federation Academy , now Pepsi Academy in Abuja.

Career
He began his career as a Midfielder in Nigeria Football Federation Academy, now Pepsi Academy and played with Chachangi F.C. and Basic Maracana F.C in Nigeria, before going to Ghana to play for International Allies F.C. where he participated in the liberty cup. He went on to two training tours in Vinhorst Hannover Germany and Dubai from 2009-2010. He returned to Nigeria to rejoin Basic Maracana F.C helping them go on to win the chancellors cup. At the end of the season, he was sought after by a number of clubs and was signed by Nigeria Prison F.C. He was loaned to Katsina United F.C. and after his spell there he was signed by Kaduna United.
International career
He was called to the Nigeria national under-17 football team where he had 2 appearances representing Nigeria versus Togo in the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qualifiers.
Style of Play
He is excellent at dribbling, passing, ball control and scoring goals. He is very fast and intelligent on the ball and excellent at interposition plays. He is very strong and fit physically and mentally on and off the pitch. He is a very mature, experienced and a great contributor in the game. He is a team player and a hard worker on the pitch. Ikechukwu functions as a playmaker and is renowned for his passing range. He uses his technique, ball control, vision, and passing ability to dictate the tempo of his team's play, while being supported by defensive midfielders, in order to give him more space and time on the ball.
