McKinley Township is a township in Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 130 at the 2000 census. McKinley Township was named for William McKinley, 25th President of the United States.

As of the census of 2000, there were 130 people, 47 households, and 33 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.6 people per square mile (1.4/km²). There were 75 housing units at an average density of 2.1/sq mi (0.8/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 96.15% White, 0.00% African American, 3.85% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.77% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
