Margaret Erskine of Dun was born in 1772, daughter of John Erskine and Mary Baird. She married Archibald Kennedy 1st Marquess of Ailsa Order of the Thistle, FRS on 1 June 1793. Margaret inherited the House of Dun, a Georgian house, in 1824.
