Mar Geevarghese Dionysious Memorial Hospital (MGDM) is a hospital established in 1964 in Kangazha under the Manohar Hill Charitable Trust. MGDM has a prominent place in the health sector of Kerala especially Kottayam District. From its humble beginning as a small dispensary to cater to the health care needs of a rural community, MGDM Hospital has become a multi disciplinary institution. MGDM Hospital renders not only hospital based services but also preventive and promotive health care and also services aimed at the educational and comprehensive development and welfare of the community it serves. While most of the multi specialty hospitals in Kerala and India are situated in urban setting, MGDM Hospital has a special stature owing to its modern multi specialty organization in a rural community setting.
