MBeTravel is a European tour operator based on privately owned online reservation systems.
MBeTravel is the acronym of Mo Better Elettronic Travel.
It is operated by MBeTravel s.r.l. company founded in 1998 as telecommunications expert consultant. On 2002 a significant turning point with the access on the world of online tourism.
Born on the Italian market, in 2004 it starts signing contracts with hotels in Europe. Today the hotel database consists of about 2,500 properties (1 to 5 star hotels, bed & breakfasts, apartments) in Europe's main destinations. The rates calculation system guarantees that the reservation is always confirmed at the best available rates the hotel can offer (considering discounts, special offers, etc.).

Business model

MBeTravel has developed 3 different distribution models:

  • www.mbetravel.com is the public site for the Consumer market.
  • corporate.mbetravel.com is the private portal for the Corporate market. The system can act on different tariff plans dedicated to the companies until "the Confidential" level that is a direct link between the hotels and the companies.
  • agency.mbetravel.com is a private system for the distribution on the traditional channel of the travel agencies. Innovative system it allows the affiliated agencies to approach the Corporate market using the most advanced technologies owned by MBeTravel.
  • MBeTravel.com has been bought by Travelint Ltd, a UK-based Company. From Travelint Ltd a new reservation service has been launched on April 2009. http://www.triptable.com

    Work in Progress

    Following a process of expansion and internationalization, during 2007, two subsidiary offices will be opened in Dublin, Ireland and in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

    MBeTravel.com serves online hotel bookings to consumers in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese via its consumer web site and via its call center.
