Lulua District (French: District de la Lulua) is a district located in the Kasai-Occidental province, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The city of Kananga (formerly known as Luluabourg) is at the center of the district, but has a separate administration.
Lulua was to become one of 25 proposed provinces specified in the country's Constitution (effective 18 February 2006). Lulua District would be combined with the city of Kananga to form the new province, and Kananga would be the capital. As of October 2010, this had not taken place.
