Lower Kabete is roughly 10 Kilometers from Nairobi CBD. Part of the Kabete area is in Kiambu County and is headed by Ferdinard Waititu as MP (2015-2017). The other part is in Westlands constituency of Nairobi County which is headed by Tim Wanyonyi as MP (2013-2017). Nairobi County's Lower Kabete Dispensary is found here alongside Lower Kabete Primary School and Farasi Lane Primary School.
